Cedar City, UT – On November 17, 2018, DNE Labs launched a Kickstarter campaign for Switchuations, a new gut-busting tabletop game of context-swapping fun. After playing Switchuations it’s sure to become your new go-to party game. This game is ideal for any gathering, from PG family get-togethers to more NSWF events.

“At Definitely Not Evil Labs, we’re all about the gaming experience. Switchuations is our contribution to the party game world, and we’re excited for you to try it!” the team explained, “We’ve created and culled hundreds of cards to give you the best game possible. We love it, our play testers have loved it, and we’re sure you’ll love it too!”

The objective of the game is to be the first player to get to five points. Players take turns writing a line for a funny Situation card, then each other player swaps in their own card, ripping the quotation out of context and throwing it into a new, hilarious light. Then everyone votes for their favorite Switchuation! Since the players provide the punchlines, the game is different each time you play.

Each game includes 200 Situation cards, rules, a dry-erase marker and an innovative box that’s part of the game. The box features a super-durable dry-erase surface called The Double Speech Bubble. The angular cut of the lid lets it rest on the table to display your masterpiece, and you don’t have to worry about losing it because it’s right on the box.

“Switchuations is an evolved, family-friendly party game driven by player contribution. You don’t have to be funny to be hilarious,” said the creator, “Our cards are written, our box is designed, and our art is ready to go. We are a small indie publishing studio, so your support is hugely appreciated!”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including the full print and play version of Switchuations for $12, a hardcopy of the base game for $25, and more. Backers can also pledge $75 for a signed limited-edition game or $500 for one of four original prototypes.
