I travel quite often and have to get someone to come and feed my 15 year old cat. He thinks it is time to eat all day long, but I only feed him 3 times a day. Finding someone who is willing or has time to come feed my cat when I am away can be quite hard to find. Usually my cat will only get fed once or twice a day since the person in charge can’t handle my feeding schedule. This awesome pet feeder has solved my feeding problem plus my cat will be able to get fed at his regular time. When I first started using it, it took a while for him to understand that what the feeder gave him was all he was getting for the meal. He still expected me to feed him also! Now when he hears the feeder start to spin and my voice call him from the recording, he comes a running to get his food.

The Arf Pets Automatic Pet Feeder Food Dispenser is 14 ½ inches tall, 9 ½ inches wide and 11 inches deep including the food dish. The feeder has a 5 foot power cord that connects to the back of the feeder and will need connected to a wall plug. If you do not want to use the power plug, you have the option of battery operation. It takes 3 D batteries that can be placed in the battery compartment on the bottom of the feeder.

The feeder has a feed bucket that can be removed from the feeder if it needs washed. To remove the bucket, pull it straight up and out. When you place it back in the feeder, make sure it snaps into place. The feeding dish can also be removed and washed by pressing in the tabs on the sides and pulling it straight out. When you replace the feeding bowl, you will need to press the tabs in slightly to slide the bowl back into position. On the top of the bucket is a clear lid which allows you to see how much food is in the feeder without having to open it.
