“I became a bit concerned with all the negative reviews of dashboards being damaged by this. When I opened the package, I saw the dashboard warning but I was happy to see that they have provided a separate "dashboard pad” where you can mount the actual device. I think this should reduce or even avoid the dashboard damage. While removing it, you just need to be extra careful so the sticky residue won’t be left on the board. Not sure if a long exposure under the sun would do any damage. As for function, it works very well for my iPhone 6+ with a soft case. Doesn’t wobble (haven’t tried extending it, didn’t need to). No issues while charging with the movable foot doing its job. soWill update this review accordingly. “
